Presented at W139, in the context of Does Not Equal, and Deniz Unal’s installation The Feminist Rock Salt. Amsterdam, 2015
live performance
duration 11’
Three older men receive a lap-dance by the artist; through the performance they join her and break into a choreography with her, lap dancing together for the audience. The performance uses eroticism as a vessel to reckon with intersubjectivity, complicity, the rhythms and vibrations that underline bodies on stage, and the correspondence, or ritual building, with the audience.
