Princess Diaries V took place in the framework of Pinaka’s She Keeps Them Warm With Her Skirt, and in collaboration with London-based artist Deniz Unal.

Unal and Pinaka have been friends and long-lasting collaborators since they met working as ushers, at the ICA in London, when they were both 24 years old. Since then, they have been witnessing and supporting each other from close and afar. Through their performance Princess Diaries V, they meet again; they unfold and unravel secrets, whispers, reenacting roles and family dynamics, and make a scene – a sabotage of ugly-witch truths and buried fairy tales to trace moments of transformation; from adolescence to motherhood.
